Dr Augustine Jeremiah Olugbemi is a seasoned Nigerian and South African trained Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgeon, with a wealth of experience from a leading South African Quartenary hospital, the Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital (IALCH), Durban, South Africa; National Cardiothoracic Centre, Korle-Bu Teaching hospital, Accra, Ghana and Duke University (Division of Thoracic Surgery), Durham, North Carolina, USA.
He is proficient in Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular procedures, including Video Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS). He has been involved in many medical missions by Family Care Association, an American based medical hospitality group, with leading roles in the surgical division and worked as Consultant Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, (LUTH), for about 3 years before proceeding to South Africa for further Cardiac training.
Dr Olugbemi is the head of the Cardiac team at the Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta, Ogun State and Consultant Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon at Tristate Healthcare System, Reddington Hospital and Babcock University.
