Dr. Olajide Oresegun

Dr Olajide Oresegun is a Consultant Physician (Cardiologist) from the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, Ogun State, Nigeria. He had his undergraduate studies at the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria. He graduated as the best medical student of his set with numerous awards in Internal Medicine, Pharmacology and Pathology.

He started his medical career as an Intern at State Hospital, Ijaiye, Abeokuta , Ogun State and has 12 years experience working in both Government and Private health facilities. Dr Oresegun is extensively involved in Cardiovascular research with interests in cardiac remodelling in hypertension, dyslipidemia and microalbuminuria.

Dr Oresegun currently works as a Cardiologist at the Tristate Heart and Vascular Centre, Babcock University Teaching Hospital, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria. Dr Oresegun is a member of the Nigeria Cardiac Society, Nigeria Hypertension Society and Nigeria Medical Association.
