Dr. Soe Moe Aung

Dr Aung completed his study as Doctor of Medicine from Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey and did his post-graduation in Cardiology and interventional Cardiology in Istanbul gaining profound training in various cardiology interventions.

He worked in one of the busiest Cath labs in Istanbul and served as an assistant professor in Fatih University, School of Medicine before moving to Nigeria in 2016 to lead the cardiology program in Reddington hospital group. Dr Aung is extensively involved in cardiovascular research and has published more than 60 articles in peer-reviewed international journals.

He has a vast experience in the management of cardiac patients, covering the entire spectrum of cardiovascular diseases. Dr Aung’s areas of interest include complex coronary interventions, intracoronary imaging, peripheral and carotid interventions, clinical and non-invasive cardiology, Echocardiography and Transesophageal Echocardiography.

He is a fellow of American College of Cardiology and Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, and also a member of Turkish Society of Cardiology and European Society of Cardiology. Dr. Aung’s ultimate care philosophy is centered around enhancing the survival and quality of life of his patients in the most clinically advanced, evidence-based and thorough manner possible.
